MANIFESTO GREEN

SUSTAINABLE MOBILITY

The Festival promotes sustainable mobility for guests, audiences and staff. The Festival venues are located in close proximity to the train and bus stations and can be easily reached on foot, or, alternatively, it is possible to reach the Festival locations by bike, using the cycle path network. The Festival website provides information on public transport and bike sharing services.

SUSTAINABLE ENERGY CONSUMPTION

Heating in the venues will be managed in such a way as to ensure minimal energy consumption, and the lighting systems in screening rooms and cinema projection systems will be turned on only during the screenings.

PRINTING OF MATERIALS

For the printing of promotional materials, paper certified with an environmental label will be used and digital communication is favoured. Printed materials will be distributed only at selected points and locations.

DECORATIONS

Decorations that do not contain edition-specific information are favoured, allowing them to be reused.

WASTE MANAGEMENT

Waste production is kept to a minimum, and waste management is carried out with great care. Clearly visible and sufficient waste bins for recyclable and residual waste will be provided, ensuring proper waste separation before disposal. Ashtrays for cigarette disposal will be placed in front of the cinema.

MERCHANDISE

BOLZANO FILM FESTIVAL BOZEN is committed to distributing useful and sustainable merchandise, from both an environmental and social point of view. The official merchandise for the 2025 edition will be a reusable organic cotton tote bag.

GUEST MANAGEMENT

Guests are invited to travel in an eco-friendly way, favouring trains or coaches. The selected accommodation facilities are close to the Festival venue and easily reachable by foot. Guests are informed about sustainable mobility options.

FOOD SUSTAINABILITY

The Festival places great importance on the selection of food and beverages for catering and refreshments. Locally-sourced products are always offered, and great efforts are made to minimise food waste. Tap water is always available. The food selection always includes vegetarian and/or vegan dishes. Single-use plates and cups are not used.
