Monica is losing her memory and her life is being turned upside down. It is Korsakoff's syndrome, the doctor says. It is irreversible. Then, the unexpected happens: she finds a way to make sense of it all again by borrowing the memories of another Monica, whom she has always admired: Monica Vitti. She dresses like her, imitates her, and re-lives scenes from her films to the point of confusing cinema with reality.

Born in Milan, she first studied philosophy before attending courses in Acting and Playwriting at the Paolo Grassi School of Dramatic Art and in Directing and Screenwriting at the Luchino Visconti Film School.
She directed two musicals: Tano da morire, a cult film where irony and music offer a unique take on the dark theme of the Mafia, and Sud Side Story, a musical adaptation of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, presented at the 57th Venice Film Festival.
